7PM to 2AM Creative time!

Inspiration can come at any time and for any reason... Tonight it was the sound of an old friend... and by old friend I mean simply one of the best pianos in the world today. The 10'2" FAZIOLI Concert Grand Piano! No I don't have one in my house as it's almost the same price as my house and almost the same size of my house! But I used to have my morning coffee with a FAZIOLI piano every morning as I came to work in the piano store in Calgary. This is the kind of instrument that takes you away to another place, thoughts of the world and life temporarily disappear.

Cat In The Attic has added the sample library of this monster instrument to the arsenal of colourful layers of sound that are available in the studio.

Tonight as I began to play and reminisce, music just happened as it often does. After asking a magnificent bass playing colleague to track some beautiful bass for it... it just all came together!

I am looking forward to many more pieces of inspired music from it!
