Most of us aren't in tune with the musical soundtrack that is going on inside us. As humans we respond to music that makes us:
-
feel.
-
Feel emotion,
-
feel inspired... music can add so much to the picture in our minds eye.
-
When someone gets the music right, it resonates within us to make that moment, that experience, so much more vivid and memorable.
Cat In The Attic is all about getting the music right! You may be doing a small corporate video to distribute to potential clients, a video for your website, a short film or documentary. Time has been taken to write and edit scripts, create the scenes, craft the right shot... most likely multiple takes of that shot. Far too often the music that goes behind it is more of an afterthought, when it deserves better than that.
I've heard it said that people will tolerate poor image quality and continue watching, but poor sound quality or the wrong sound is rarely tolerated.
This is what we do, let us get it right for you!

ORIGINAL MUSIC & BACKGROUND MUSIC
Such an iconic car, I was inspired by the car itself to compose this original background music bed for this video.
The Jag is a car that needs some (no pun intended), driving music to show off its up scale prowl on the road. This original score was composed by Cat In The Attic to do just that.
Im sure many of you saw this heart touching video as it went viral. I borrowed this video, stripped out the music and composed a small piano and cello score to demonstrate my take on this important message.
The Blue Angels acrobatic flying team is world renown for their precision flying. The background music and a few little sound design sounds were composed by Cat In The Attic to add reverance and drive to the imagery and the grace at which they pull all of this off.
Please excuse the sound and picture quality... this was taken with a low quality phone camera, before phones can do what they can do now.
It was a twice in a lifetime treat to backup Bo Diddley at Reds in Edmonton. I am playing keys in this video. A memory I will have forever. RIP Bo!
At that same venue on different dates we also had the privlege of opening for the late, great Jeff Healey, Prism and April Wine.
